Vision:

The Department of Women’s Studies pursues the international academic standard in order to support and promote research as well as academic service to encourage women’s studies knowledge for applying and to boost gender equality as well as women’s human right in local community ,region ,country and worldwide

Mission

• To Support research in women’s studies in order to promote equality between man and woman and women’s human rights in local community and country as well.
• To explore art and culture, religion, natural resources and environment to beget gender equality and respect in women’s human rights
• To organize research activities with a special focus on solving women’s problems related to socio-economic, educational, health, psychological, political, literary and cultural aspects.
• To organize seminars, workshops and conferences related to women’s issues and empowerment.
• To create  awareness about women’s issues and influence public opinion on them.
• To empower women in areas such as local government, legal awareness, computer and need based promotional programmes including vocational, career oriented training and human resource development
