VISION

To groom journalists with a combination of advanced professional skills and humanitarian outlook

MISSION
To create a sense of social responsibility among the prospective journalists and equip them to face the challenges offered by the acutely competitive world of the media.

GOALS

  • To encourage students to take up field work by writing for newspapers and magazines
  • To organize frequent workshops and special lecturers on effective communication, photography and feature writing by eminent academicians and senior journalists
  • To start postgraduate courses and diplomas in journalism
  • To equip the department with a full-fledged studio and to start a community radio

2024 ರ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ/ಮಾರ್ಚ್/ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ಮಾಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯನ್ವಯ (NEP) ನಡೆದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು.
೨೦೨೪ ರ ಜೂನ್ ಮಾಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ತುಮಕೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ೧೭ನೇ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ
