Department of Studies and Research in Physics

VISION

To synergise ideas and concepts from diverse specializations in the physical sciences and develop a genuine spirit of enquiry in students through fusion of research and education

MISSION

  • To equip students with an awareness of the advancements and innovations in the field
  • To develop scientific thinking and analytical abilities leading to better understanding of concepts in physics

GOALS

  • To start add-on programmes in Nuclear Physics, Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Material Science
  • To encourage students to take up projects and work on them in consultation with the faculty
  • To arrange student exchange and faculty exchange programmes with other Universities at national and international levels
  • To work on consultancy projects and apply for registration of patents and intellectual property
