About Exam Section
- Tumkur University is only one of the two public Universities in Karnataka that has effectively implemented all the examination related activities using the end-to-end application software developed by NIC (National Informatics Centre) through the State Government
- Right since the introduction of Unified University & College Management System (UUCMS) by the Department of Higher Education, Karnataka, the section has adopted
- Tumkur University has its own Ordinance for all the examination related activities and has revised them in a timely manner to ensure
adaptability, transparency and credibility. its examination module and has been using it to handle all the examination procedures of UG, PG and B.Ed. students.
- The University has been using both offline and online platforms to issue various exam related certificates such as Provisional Degree
Certificate, Migration Certificate, Genuineness Verification Certificate, etc. In particular, it provides these services online through Sevasindhu and Sakala portals, which are embedded into its website.
- The results of the respective courses / semesters are published online within one or two days after completion of valuation using
NIC software and/or UUCMS.
- In particular, using UUCMS, the students are able to track all the exam related processes using their login credentials thereby ensuring
24X7 accessibility and transparency in the process.
- The University has adopted cashless mode for all the money transactions related to the examination process. In particular, the SBI
Collect service, offered by the State Bank of India, offering options for the payment of various exam related fees, is integrated into
the University website to ensure smooth, seemless and secure online transactions
