TUMKUR UNIVERSTY PLACEMENT CELL (TU-PC)
ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕೋಶವು ಯೋಜನಾಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ನೀಡುವ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಂಪೆನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಉದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ನಡುವಿನ ಅಂತರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕೋಶವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಸಕ್ತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೊಂಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕೋಶವು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
The purpose of higher education is not only dissemination of knowledge, but also equipping the students with appropriate set of skills and aptitudes to face the challenges in the society and fulfilling their career dreams as well.
Keeping in mind all these issues The Tumkur University has established a Placement Cell in the campus. The Centre will cater to the pre-placement training and placement needs of both Under Graduate and Post Graduate students of the University.
Vision
Mission
One of the main responsibilities of the Placement Cell is to motivate, train and prepare the students of the University and its affiliated Colleges for campus interviews. It plays a very important and key role in counselling and guiding the students of the University and its affiliated Colleges for their successful career placement, which is a crucial interface for the students between the stages of completion of academic programmes of studies and entry into suitable employment.
[Some of the major activities of the Placement Cell are:
The main endeavour of PC is to get students placed in reputed multinationals, Government Organisations, NGO's and the private sector. All students registered with PC will be provided placement assistance, counselling for employment and self/Social entrepreneurship. The PC assures logistic support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process by making university infrastructure available to them. The PC will act as an interface between the industry and the students, and will primarily enable the students to select from their career options. We shall facilitate the selection process of all the companies as per their requirement.
The PC will liaison with corporate organizations to provide suitable jobs and internship for the candidates completing their studies from Tumkur University.
